General Terms and Conditions of Duinzoomhoeve
General Terms and Conditions of Duinzoomhoeve
How wonderful that you want to spend your holiday with us. We look forward to welcoming you! Duinzoomhoeve is known for its hospitality and friendly atmosphere. Of course, we also have a few rules — known as our general terms and conditions. These apply to camping pitches, tourist spots and rental accommodations at Duinzoomhoeve campsite.
Online reservation
You can submit a reservation request online. If we have availability, you’ll receive a confirmation by email. This means we are counting on you, and your booking is final. From that moment on, you can look forward to a great stay at Duinzoomhoeve!
Didn’t receive an email? Then something may have gone wrong. Please contact us by emailing info@duinzoomhoeve.nl or call Mary at +31 6 23199063. We’ll be happy to help.
Payment terms
You can pay in two instalments:
- 40% within two weeks after making your reservation
- The remaining 60% two weeks before arrival or upon arrival
If you choose to pay upon arrival, you can do so in cash or by debit card.
Cancelling your holiday
Sometimes, you may need to cancel your holiday unexpectedly. This can leave a spot on the campsite unused. That’s why we must charge cancellation fees:
- Cancellation up to two months before arrival: 25% of the total amount
- Cancellation up to one month before arrival: 50% of the total amount
- Cancellation up to one week before arrival: 75% of the total amount
- Cancellation within one week before arrival: 100% of the total amount
Of course, there may be special circumstances that call for a customised solution. We’re happy to discuss this with you. However, we do reserve the right to rely on the payment terms listed above.
Leaving early?
That’s a pity! If there’s something we can do, please let us know. We always welcome feedback. Unfortunately, no refunds will be given for early departures.
Coming with a group?
How nice if several friends or family members are coming to Duinzoomhoeve together! Often the question is: can we book pitches next to each other? We’ll certainly do our best, but we can’t guarantee it.
If more guests arrive, any extra charges (like delicious fresh bread rolls in the morning!) will be settled the evening before departure.
Dogs
Dogs are very welcome! Please keep your dog on a lead while on the pitch and near the caravan. We kindly ask you to walk your dog outside the field or along our path. No one wants an unpleasant surprise underfoot after stepping out of the shower!
Our dog Inca also lives on the campsite. She’s sweet, curious, and sometimes makes a clever lap around the property — even though she’s not supposed to. To avoid her visiting your tent or caravan, please:
- Secure your accommodation when you’re away
- Store pet food and other animal feed safely — that way we can all prevent unexpected snacking or snooping. Thanks for your understanding!
What is not allowed
While much is possible here, we do not allow electric heaters in awnings. In awnings and tents, please only use breathable ground cover (tent carpet). To keep our pitches green and healthy, plastic sheeting, root cloths, eco-covers or tarps are not allowed. These damage the grass. Only proper tent carpet is allowed on our grassy camping pitches. Caravans without a license plate are also not allowed.
Children
We love having children here, and we offer many facilities for them. We do ask parents and grandparents to accompany young children to the go-karts and when visiting the sanitary facilities.
Recreation room
Children are welcome in the recreation room, but only under adult supervision. For your safety, CCTV is in operation.
That’s all for our terms and conditions. We look forward to welcoming you!
