Indoor Recreation Area
The indoor recreation area at Camping Duinzoomhoeve is the perfect place to relax and connect with fellow guests. It offers a cool retreat on warm days and shelter from wind and rain when the weather isn’t as nice. The space is located in part of our former bulb barn and features two large overhead doors that open up to stunning views of the surrounding nature and the campsite. The side door on the north side is always open, so you can come and go as you please.

Inside, you’ll find various amenities to make your stay even more enjoyable. There’s a communal fridge, as well as a special fridge stocked with chilled drinks – including delicious Helders beer, wine, soft drinks, and juices. You can easily record your drinks using the Camping Comfort App and pay later.

Coffee lovers can enjoy freshly brewed coffee and cappuccino from our bean-to-cup machine. There’s also tea and hot chocolate for those who prefer something else. The space is decorated with fun facts about flower bulb farming and the unique Wadden Sea area, giving you a taste of the special region you’re staying in.

The room also features several fire tables – perfect for a cosy evening. If you’d like to use one, just check in with farmer Mary first. For children, there are various games available, including a traditional Dutch shuffleboard (sjoelbak). Please note: children may only enter the space when accompanied by an adult.
